Introducing images, links, and text as supplemental evidence in Jeli’s Narrative Builder

We’re excited to announce the release of one of our most-requested features. As of today, you can add images, links, and text as supplemental evidence in Jeli’s Narrative Builder. Let’s dig into what this means.
Incidents tend to happen in unexpected ways and love to throw us curve balls when it comes to what we need to solve the problems at hand. Data important to understanding an incident can come from anywhere: messages, transcripts, graphs, logs, vendor status pages, social media posts, even napkin drawings. Compiling all the artifacts from an incident is one of the first steps to telling the story of how it unfolded.

In Jeli’s Narrative Builder, you can already add Slack channels, threads, and individual messages as evidence to illustrate the various points of interest during response. With this new feature you can now also add additional images, links, and text to Markers in the Narrative Builder to help make the story of your incident complete. Use it to add a graph from DataDog, a quick note (Markdown supported!), a link to an external vendor’s status page… endless possibilities to help you tell a more complete story of an incident.
We’d love to hear your feedback on supplemental evidence in the Narrative Builder. Check out the docs for more information, give it a try, and let us know what you think!
