Hiring Process

Initial Conversation
The process kicks off with a hiring manager screen, where we will share details about the role and Jeli in general. This is your opportunity to share your skills and experience and to get a feel for how we operate. It’s a two-way street, after all.
Detailed Department Discussions
Sounds intimidating but don’t fret—we provide you with an interview guide that describes a series of focused discussions you’ll have with folks from engineering, design, and product. These interviews are designed to help us get a strong sense of your career goals, preferred working style and overall priorities. You’ll know what to expect ahead of time, and we hope that you’ll bring questions so you get the opportunity to interview us as well. Again…two ways.
Hand Shakes, High Fives
Once we’ve gathered feedback from your interviewers and determined you’re a good fit for the role, we’ll work to make an offer as quickly as we can. Expect to chat with the hiring manager about a verbal offer. If it meets your expectations, we’ll send something more formal. Then we’ll high five to new opportunities and new friendships.


At Jeli, we’re helping our customers learn more from incidents. It’s kind of our whole thing. We believe the software industry is primed for a significant shift in how we approach incident analysis. So our product is built to push beyond the state-of-the-art by making it possible for our customers to find clear insights and actionable recommendations in their incident and alert data. And eventually, the shift will happen across the industry. 

Jeli is looking for a frontend software engineer to join our small, tightly-knit engineering team. You’ll enjoy influencing the direction of the look, feel and accessibility of the Jeli experience  while working closely with a remote-first team spread across the United States.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and CSS.
  • Strong experience with React or GraphQL / TypeScript.
  • A proven track record of writing clear, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Node.js, SQL, or RxJS.
  • Experience automating E2E tests Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Next.js and / or Docker.
  • Informed opinions about the value of incidents and how best to learn from them.
