We’re pleased to announce that if you use Opsgenie for on-call scheduling and alerting you can now integrate directly with Jeli. One of our key goals with Jeli is to improve on-call rotations, and help your organization understand where expertise lies in your teams. You can use the new Opsgenie integration to pull responders into an incident during Incident Response, as well as get insights about on-call schedules while doing Incident Analysis and uncovering Cross-incident Insights.
Read on for more details on how the integration works—or head straight for the docs if you’d like to get started right away!
Page responders during an incident
Response time matters while you’re busy with an ongoing incident, so every minute you save by not having to switch tools makes things so much calmer and more manageable for response teams. Once Opsgenie is connected with Jeli you can use the commands jeli page or jeli escalate to bring the right people into the incident—without leaving Slack.

Learn about your organization during analysis and reviews
After an incident is resolved and an Opportunity is created for analysis, Jeli will pull in the relevant on-call data from Opsgenie to provide context on your responders.

You can use this information during an analysis—and when looking for patterns across incidents—to see which responders were on call vs. not on call, and gain valuable insights on where team structures and schedules could be improved.

Integration with Opsgenie is done easily through their API keys, and we have a full integration guide available to walk you through the process.
